Services : Private Art Lessons
If you have a child that you feel would benefit more from individual teaching, I can come to your home. I am willing to provide a lesson plan uniquely created to fit your child's needs and interests while at the same time challenging them to grow in areas where they are weak.
This avenue of teaching will require a bit more parent involvement. There will be two meetings necessary before we begin lessons.
For the first meeting, I will come to your home to speak with you and your child in order to become better acquainted with you and your child's personal goals for the semester while also developing an understanding or your child's personality and character. My desire is to create a lesson plan that is unique to your child's specific needs and individual personality.
If, after the first meeting, you decide to go ahead with the class, a deposit of $100 will be due for the development of your child's individual curriculum. Each hour class will be $40 and can be scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Parents will get a copy of some curriculum materials at the end of the class, for further study.
After finishing the lesson plan, I will meet with the parent(s) once again to go over the plan for the semester. I will provide you information that will help you to follow along with our teaching time and we will schedule the day and time for your child's classes. This will also provide an opportunity for any lingering questions. A supply list will also be given at this time.
Cost
Deposit: $100.00 due at first meeting
This charge is for the creation of the lesson plan for your child.
Cost per 1 hr. class: $40.00
Cost per semester (weekly classes): $600.00
*Note: Supplies for individual classes are not provided by the instructor.
*Note: Travel expenses will be charged if travel is not within a 20
mile radius.
